Danielle Butterfield

Danielle Butterfield completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria with a Bachelors of Science before continuing her studies at the University of British Columbia with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has always had a strong interest in human anatomy and rehabilitation stemming from her own personal experiences with injury as a young athlete. She combines her own personal experiences with her passion for rehabilitative science to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to her physiotherapy practice.
Education and Background:
Danielle treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries through an exercise and manual therapy-based approach and will work with you to develop the most effective treatment program to suit your unique goals. With special interests in sports-related injuries, TMJ dysfunction and post-mastectomy rehabilitation, Danielle engages in evidence informed practice to provide education and the appropriate tools to improve your pain and function. Danielle has also completed her Orthopedic Level One Certification, AN-IMS 1 Dry Needling Certification as well as a qualitative research study in post-operative breast cancer physiotherapy treatment.
Having grown up in North Vancouver, Danielle loves spending her leisure time hiking and skiing the North Shore mountains. When she’s not in the alpine you can find her running or rollerblading the seawall or practicing soccer.
